This study analyzed the health conditions and occupational risk factors associated with metabolic syndrome in workers of a service-sector company in Cali, Colombia. Using a descriptive cross-sectional design with a mixed approach, a structured survey was applied to 68 workers from commercial, administrative, and customer service areas. Results indicated that 29.85% of participants remained seated for more than six hours daily, 95.52% reported significant occupational stress levels, and approximately 20% presented criteria compatible with metabolic syndrome. The most prevalent conditions were obesity (17.9%), arterial hypertension (16.4%), and gastritis (16.4%). Inadequate dietary habits, reduced meal times, and limited physical activity were identified as key behavioral determinants. The findings underscore the need to strengthen health promotion strategies within the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SG-SST), including active breaks, nutritional education, and psychosocial risk intervention programs.
